Please reach us at haverim.claremont@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If you or a friend has experienced antisemitism on campus or online, please reach out to the appropriate resources at your college, and submit a report to us here . You can also reach out to Chabad, Hillel, and the Jewish Chaplain.
First, prioritize your safety above all else. You can combat antisemitism on campus by talking to your friends about it, participating in Haverim and other Jewish Organizations. When an incident happens, make sure to report it and let us know.
This is a tough one. There are may valid criticism of Israeli policy, and the issues surrounding the Jewish state are contentious. However, anti-Zionism has a history of being used as a veil for antisemitism, and anti-Israel incidents should be reported, even if just as a way to keep a record. We see anti-Zionism as antisemitism when it demonizes, deligitimizes, and holds Israel to a double-standard. We are always happy to have conversations about this, so feel free to reach out!
